Custom Character Tools was first created by TheVisitorX for WWE 2k16 as an easy way to install mods. It was designed to work in synergy with Caveman's Data Editor.
Custom Character Tools 2017 has been released for WWE 2k17 with new features in Spring 2018.
Custom Character Tools 2018 has been released for WWE 2k18 in Winter 2018. It comes with new features, like reading names from Created Superstars, Teams and Custom Matches from the game, adds Utilities to clear the Chunk0.arc, smartly Re-generate the Cunk0.def file, install PerfectPlextra to permanently add additional character slots so you no longer need to use PacPlus every time you play, convert HSPC format CH .pac files to EPK8 format so it can rename the EMD section properly and much more.
Custom Character Tools 2019 has been released for WWE 2k19. This version features an overhauled Graphical User Interface similar to the one used in Sound Editor. It includes and refines features from previous games and adds features such as adding Renders to wrestlers that don't have a render and also to every single attire for each wrestler, injecting .pofo, .moveset etc. for each Universe Save, quick actions like setting the gender and more.
