Story:
Balu(Vishal) returns from a foreign country to India after 7 years to attend a traditional festivity. Following a series of incidents, he gets himself involved in a heated rift between Raja Reddy(Rajkiran) and Bhavani(Varalaxmi). These incidents complicate his love life with Charulatha(Keerthy Suresh). How he overcomes all these troubles and settles the feuds between 2 villages form the remaining story.
Analysis:
The movie is set out in a rural backdrop and revolves around the revenge stories of 2 villages. The story has nothing much to offer and so is the screenplay. Instead, the user is served with good doses of fights, confrontational scenes, and family emotions.
Rajkiran, Vishal, Keerty Suresh, and Varalakshmi get meaty roles and they deliver what is needed of them. Keerthy Suresh looks really beautiful on screen and her chemistry with Vishal is good.
The big problem with Pandem Kodi 2 is that it has way too many been-there-seen-that moments which is a strict no-no for moviegoers who expect novelty.
Proper care should have been taken towards Vishal’s clothing as he looks pretty ordinary and at times, jaded.
After getting off to an electrifying start, the movie gets sidetracked completely in the second half. Illogical scenes, that do not have any real importance in the plot take the center stage and the director’s urge to infuse comedy makes things miserable.

Verdict:
Pandem Kodi 2 is a below-par sequel that is nowhere close to the original one, owing to its age-old story and dull narrative. The movie gets a good start after a couple of pacy sequences set the right tempo. However, unnecessary subplots play the spoiler part in the second half. Background score saves almost every action block in the movie and that needs to be noted here. This movie is strictly for action lovers, who love to watch typical mass masala entertainers.
